A Ugandan couple has shared their heartbreaking experience of losing their unborn baby through a miscarriage.
Moses Muwulya and Rhodah Namubiru, 27, shared their anguish in an article in the Daily Monitor.
Moses wrote that they were looking forward to welcoming their third child after Rhodah conceived early this year.
They hoped that the newborn baby would help them overcome their grief at losing their second child Claire Kisakye to cancer of the eye in September 2015.
However, their joy soon turned into sadness. Just a month after conceiving, Rhodah started bleeding and experiencing abdominal pains.
This went on about two days. By the time the two sought medical help, it was sadly too late. Moses admitted to shedding tears of unbearable pain at the tragic development.
Fortunately, Moses and Rhodah received counseling from a relative who had gone through a similar experience twice. They are gradually overcoming the difficult period.
