- Kennedy Agyapong asks Ghanaians to beware of persons using his name to collect monies from innocent people
- Mr Agyapong is MP for Assin central
Firebrand New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP for Assin Central constituency, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong in the Central Region has asked Ghanaians to ignore persons who create accounts on social media and pose as him.
According to the vociferous MP, he does not have a personal Facebook account or page thus people should be careful.
He also added that anyone who encounters such persons on Facebook should report to the police.
“Please don't mind this Facebook page pretending to be me. I don't have a Facebook account. This person is trying to charge 500 cedis to meet me. But how possible? As an MP I serve my people and I would never take money in order to meet my own people. #Ghana #honkenagy,” he posted this alert on his official Instagram page.
The NPP MP has been in the news for various reasons - good, bad and even the ugly.
Mr Agyapong has also been rebuked by some NPP members for going public with internal party matters.
