- Nana Addo reveals that his government will only service the genuine debts
President of the republic, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, has revealed plans to strictly investigate what exactly entered into the colossal debts that the opposition NDC accrued while in office.
These debts, the president has indicated, were clearly noticed across the various metropolitan, municipal and district assemblies of the country.
Speaking during the recently held Ashanti regional NPP annual delegates conference in Kumasi, Nana Addo maintained that his government will only service debts which are genuine.
“We learnt about the huge debt that the various MMDAs inherited from the NDC government during a recent retreat, which we organized. We need to investigate the colossal debts to determine their genuineness,” the president revealed.
