The Ghanaian football community has received yet another blow as the team manager of the Black Starlets was reportedly involved in a car crash.
Samuel Aboabire, who is the manager of the national Under 17 side, was involved in the car accident on Saturday night according to a report by Pulse Sports.
The report continued that the team manager, who survived the accident is currently receiving treatment at the 37 Military Hospital.
Mr. Aboabire, who is also known as Qatar in the Starlets' camp, has been with the national football team since 2013 as the welfare officer and team manager.
He was also party to the team during the 2017 Africa U17 Championship in Gabon.
Photos of the car involved in the accident show the front bonnet mangled from the crash.
A few days before, Ghana came to a standstill as the news of a road accident involving the bus of a local football club, Asante Kotoko FC broke.
