Founder of the group, Charles Kormi Kudjordji is making the claim that the Volta region is a country which was made to be a part of Ghana during the times of the Plebiscite where Ghanaians were to vote on whether or not they wanted to remain a part of Ghana.

“We will go out of Ghana with the matter, Ghana is not the end of the journey. The United Nations is there; the International Court of Justice (ICJ is there…[to arbitrate] for us to take back our country," he revealed in an interview with Starr FM.

This group is further arguing that the Volta, Northern and Upper East regions were all independent Western Togoland state, even before Ghana’s independence in 1957.
