The late President John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills died while in office on 24 July 2012.
After his untimely party, the baton of power was handed over to former President John Dramani Mahama who handled Ghana and got elected to maintain the position of President of Ghana in 2012 General Elections.
Over the past few days, John Mahama has been lauding the late Atta Mills for his "courage and strength".
On Friday 21 July, the President posted a picture of the late Atta Mills with an older woman who was clad in a National Democratic Congress' headgear.
In the tweet, John Dramani referred to Atta Mills as "a source of inspiration" to him and Ghana as a whole.
Again on Monday 24 July, which marked the 5th anniversary of President Mills' death, John Mahama once again lauded the president.
He posted a picture which showed him walking with the late President Mills with the caption, "My comrade, my mentor, my friend".
