Marwako staff whose face was dipped into pepper sauce by supervision wants out of court settlement
The Ghanaian kitchen staff of Marwako Fast Foods Limited, Evelyn Boakye whose supervisor Jihad Chaaban dipped her face into pepper sauce has opted for an out of court settlement.
The Abeka district court on Wednesday adjourned it’s judgement on the case because the two parties agreed on an out of court settlement.
The judging sitting on the case, Victoria Ghansah however, asked the two parties to reappear the court on Wednesday, August 2, 2017.
According to the magistrate, she only received it on Monday, July 24, and it is only wise that she studies it before her judgment.
On February 28, this year, Evelyn’s supervisor at the Marwako Restaurant, allegedly dipped her face into a full jar of blended pepper.
Ms Boakye was an employee at the Abelenkpe Branch of Marwako Restaurant.
Chaaban has been charged with the offensive conduct by calling the victim a prostitute and intentionally and unlawfully causing harm and assault.
Chaaban has, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
