YEN.com.gh gathered that a young man who narrowly escaped being kidnapped, was attacked by robbers barely few minutes after.
In what can only be described as either bad luck or grace (depending on how you choose to see it), a man lost his car and other valuables to robbers minutes after he had earlier escaped being kidnapped.
According to what his friends shared on Facebook, the victim Umar Haruna, was talking to family and friends who wanted to know how he was doing following the kidnap attempt, when he was accosted by the robbers.
Even though Haruna was 'lucky', one of his friends wasn't, as he was reportedly taken away by the kidnappers.
While trying to sympathise with his friend, Ismaeel Kasim, wrote:
"Umar Haruna a Brother and a Friend.....
He escaped being kidnapped along Airport road, while they took away his friend, and later get robbed at Kawo bridge while answering calls from friends and relations that called to sympathise with him.
They took away his car, phone and Cash. We join millions in sympathizing with you and equally praying for our safety wherever we may be.
Allah ya bayyana abokin tafiyan naka....Allah ya maida maka da mafi alheri... Ya kuma tona asirinsu. Ameen."
Another friend, Mallam Yusuf Amoke, also wrote:
"I wish to commensurate with my friend Umar Haruna for the trauma he passed through in the hands of kidnappers and armed robbers from whom he narrowly escaped with his life. We thank God that it was only his car and other valuables in it that was taken by the robbers not his life.
We pray Allah to replace for him the lost property in folds and we pray HE protects us all from the evils of ourselves, our enemies and most especially the evil of our friends."
