Junior High School candidates who recently sat to write the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) can now check the Senior High School placement easily.

The Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) will give all candidates the opportunity to check the Senior high school placement as well as the programme offered.

The computerized system has been designed by the Ghana Education Service (GES) to place qualified Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates into Senior High School (SHS), Technical Institutes (TI) and Vocational Institute.

I order to ensure authentic verification of school, parents are advised to text the 10 digit index numbers of the candidates to short code 1060 of any of the following mobile networks: MTN, Vodafone, Airtel and Tigo.

To demonstrate a candidate with Index Number 0011111111 should text; 0011111111 to short code 1060 on any of the networks above.

Candidates who find any difficulty with their placement are advised to contact their Junior High Schools or the District/Regional Education Directorate for rectification.
