It has been a messy week for the Ghanaian showbiz industry and actor Prince David Osei is not one to let the mess slide over as his latest comments are sure to start an avalanche of scathing comments.
There has been a well-covered feud between Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson and Nana Akua Addo and Prince David Osei has waded into the issues.
The Ghanaian actor took a stand and backed Yvonne Nelson saying players in the movie industry who are always slaying at events do not have anything to offer the dying industry.
David Osei made his assertions in a comment under an Instagram post by Ghanaian blogger, Zionfelix.
In his long tirade, the actor questioned how colleagues in the movie industry are helping when "flaunt borrowed garments and accessories".
The actor was, however, quick to mention that, he saw nothing wrong with glitz and glamour but opined they were irrelevant when "you don’t even have a movie role".
"You celebrate success not mediocre. This is the reason why everyone desperate borrowing clothes to make a mark on the Red carpet, there’s a mad Euphoria to just slay and be popular on social media with no work put to it."
Prince Osei called on Ghanaian actors and actresses to focus on the basics of making great movies, saving the industry and helping it grow rather than worry about pomp and glory when there is currently nothing to celebrate.
