Yesterday, it was reported that the “Okumchola” hit maker was spotted with his Bro Sammy and the former was not looking like he used to when he first appeared on the gospel scene in Ghana.
It has however been discovered that Prophet Seth Frimpong used to be the mentor of Bro Sammy. It is out of the respect and love that he has for the “Mehuri Sor” singer that he has decided to team up with him. Bro Sammy has been praised for his efforts at helping one of Ghana’s local gospel greats to get back on his feet and get back to singing.

It has also come to light that the long absence of Prophet Seth Frimpong was due to ill-health. He was diagnosed with diabetes some two years ago and the situation got him bed-ridden.

Speaking on his ill-health, Prophet Seth Frimpong indicated that after he was diagnosed, he was abandoned by his wife and many of his friends. He felt so peeved by his wife’s decision to neglect him on his sickbed that at a point he almost threw his wedding ring away.
The move by Bro Sammy will provide a glimmer of hope for the Prophet who once felt all hope was lost.
