- Richard Kingson took over from him as goal keeper for the Black Stars
A former goal keeper of Ghana’s senior national football team, the Black Stars, Sammy Adjei has been identified as the owner of a public latrine in Labadi, a suburb of Accra.
The former shot stopper, who retired from active duty several years ago, is alleged to have opted to invest in the latrine business, as a means of sustenance.
It turns out he took an excellent business decision. Information reaching YEN indicates that it guarantees him a regular source of income.
Adjei was the preferred goal keeper for both Accra Hearts of Oak and the Black Stars. He later surrendered his position in the Black Stars to Richard Kingson.
