According to her, she is very honest and straight forward therefore would not like to hang out with the likes of Mzbel.

The two best friends fell out and collided with each other on both social media and on some local radio stations few years ago.

Mzbel on her side claimed that, her one time best friend waged needless attacks on her, because she felt she was on the side of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)

But Diamond jumped to the defense of the outspoken singer, when she was allegedly attacked by some New Patriotic Party supporters after the 2016 election.

However Diamond Appiah in a recent media interview has served notice that, she and Mzbel could not ever be be friends, “I don’t think there would be a day like that. I don’t have any problem with her, I have forgiven her, I have moved on.."

"She is not the type of person I would love to hang around with me again. I am very honest and straight forward, I don’t hide my feelings,” she insisted.

She clarified that, it wasn’t her deliberate attempt to mock Mzbel, adding that her image came across that week because it was best to suit her message.

“It was a general advice. I didn’t mention her name in my post, it is unfortunate that the bloggers twisted it.

"I was looking for a picture on the net that will bring meaning to my post and unfortunately that picture was circulating online that week so I saw and I was like wow, this might match my caption so I used that picture but I didn’t mention her name,” she explained.
