True to his word, the president of the Association of Virgin Pastors visited the town of Denkyira-Obuasi earlier this week to preach the gospel and offer words of wisdom and encouragement.
Mr. Job Antwi had announced last week that he intended to hold a crusade in the town, which was still recovering from the backlash it experienced after the tragic lynching and death of an army officer.
The incident sparked a nationwide public outrage, causing many stakeholders to denounce the town, as well as speak doom into their future.
Prophet Kumchacha was among the people who condemned the town to the wrath of God, stating he would never step foot in the town even if only his preaching could save the souls of the residents.
The Virgin Pastor however said he had been tasked by God, and given the strength and ability to ‘preach the good news of salvation’ to the townsfolk so their souls are saved.
In a series of photo posts on his Facebook wall, Pastor Job Antwi uploaded photos of him praying and preaching to the people.
He further stated that he performed miracles for the people in the town.
