The police have unearthed over 2,000 slabs of Indian Hemp on the University of Ghana site at Kpong.

There have been mixed reports regarding the unearthing of the narcotic as some eyewitnesses say the slabs of "weed" could have been buried by some drug dealers.

Police have currently mounted a wild search for perpetrators of this development as the likelihood for they being students of the university remains at large.

YEN gathers that the slabs of Indian Hemp has been unearthed and collected by the Kpong divisional police as forensic investigations begin both far and wide.

This remains the first and only case of Indian hemp being implanted on a university site as students express surprise over the development.
