The Mensah Otabil we knew is not the same Otabil we are seeing today and I believe he has been influenced by Matthew Ashimolowo, that Nigerian man to deceive Ghanaians and take their money.

We all know what Nigerians can do when it comes to 419. Why will you be asking people who attend your crusade to contribute $5,000 as special offering when you are the same person to have preached against it?” he asked.

In a report by MyNewsGh.com, Prophet Kumchacha opined that the KICC leader’s continuous associated with Otabil is ruining the reputation of the ICGC founder.

The prophet had earlier stated that the ICGC founder be invited for questioning by security agencies, since the values placed on the offertory at the 2017 Greater Works event bordered on criminality.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the Association of Virgin Pastors, Apostle Job Antwi has condemned Pastor Otabil for charging his ‘miracle fees’ in dollars.

I have never taken an offering in my crusade activities. It is wrong for a Ghanaian pastor to take offertory in dollars, if it were me, it would have gone viral on social media. I disagree with pastors and churches doing that. It degrades the Cedi. I don’t accept that…,” he said.

Apostle Antwi further noted that pastors of today have allowed the taste for riches to influence them, instead of preaching the Gospel and doing God’s work.
