Francisca Ashietey-Odunton, the Deputy Director-General at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), is heading to Kenya as Ghana's High Commissioner to the country.
Four others have been sworn in as ambassadors to four other countries.
President Akufo-Addo stated that it was essential the diplomats constantly recall the policies of the government as they execute their duties.
He stated that they are indicative of the government’s desire to ensure the progress of Ghana’s growth and developmental agenda.
He also said that it was important for the diplomats to ensure good work relations as they perform their duties.
