He mentioned it when the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) called on him at his residence to inform him of the passing away of Paapa Yankson.

He stated that musicians should do well help fight the menace through their work.

He went on to say that the late musician did all he can to positively affect society through the use of his songs, and as such other artistes should do well to emulate him.
