- Kofi Adams says NPP is wasting money on UGCC anniversary celebration
- He says it is engaging in merrymaking whiles there are no vaccines at hospitals
National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Kofi Adams has lambasted the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), over its decision to celebrate the birth of the United Gold Coast Convention (UGCC).
According to Mr Adams, the NPP government has lost focus and its sense of priority barely eight months into office.
To him, the celebration of the UGCC, is needless in times when the country has in shortage of common vaccines to fight diseases at hospitals.
The governing NPP through the Ghana@60 committee has scheduled August 4, to commemorate the event.
But Kofi Adams commenting on the issues rebuked the NPP government over the move, insisting the Akufo-Addo government must demonstrate some level of seriousness in his administration.
He maintained that, the NPP administration is simply not interested in providing simple immunization vaccines to hospitals to fight six killer childhood disease but would do everything possible to celebrate UGCC.
The NDC Organizer added that, he is shock at the posture of the NPP in their desperate attempts to excite itself and members even in the midst of crisis.
