We go to school to learn and most times people expect that what you learn is what you are going to use as a source of income when you finally join the labour market.

There are times people end up working in their line of education and other times due to circumstances beyond ones power where you end up in the opposite direction.

It is however, rare to see graduates who end up in trade such as hawking or selling street food. Because of the education acquired, Nigerian graduates have been able to grow small scale businesses into big and profitable ones.

YEN.com.gh came across the story of one of those inspiring graduates in Nigeria, a young female chemical engineering graduate from the University of Port Harcourt.

The Port Harcourt based lady identified as Monica Tanee started a business selling smoked catfish. She has grown it into a reliable source of income.

According to Facebook user, Marvel Chihurumnanya, Tanee is a native of Ogoni, Lumene Bangha area of Rivers state.
