A respected Ghanaian highlife singer, Ronald Kwaku Dei Appiah better known as Bisa Kdei has for the first time responded to rumors that he sacrificed his biological mother for wealth and fame.
According to him, the reckless rumors emotionally affected him and at the same time made him stronger.
Speaking in a media interview for the first time, the singer rubbished the rumors, claiming that, no amount of money will compel him to involve himself in such voodoo acts.
There has been some wild rumors, linking the demise of the singer’s late mother to his sudden fame and wealth.
But Kdei on an Accra-based Adom FM submitted that, paying attention to such rumors and allegations in the media can render one paralyzed even at the pick of career.
“How much money do I need that I will use mother’s life for fame? Those things are difficult to bear”, he lamented.
He however stressed that, the rumors got him worried when it first started but later toughen him up upon his careful analysis.
The respected singer cautioned detractors to desist from making loose comments about sensitive family issues.
