YEN.com.gh understands that the Kenya authorities have blocked Peter Mac Manu, the campaign manager of Nana Akufo-Addo in the 2016 election, from entering the country to observe the ongoing presidential election there.
Mac Manu and members of a delegation he was leading were reportedly prevented from entering the east African country .
According to social media reports, the Kenyans accused of him of planning to rig the election for the opposition party.
They also reportedly referenced Mac Manu's decision to declare Nana Akufo-Addo president ahead of the Electoral Commission's official declaration in December 2016.
The reports also say Joe Anokye, the CEO of the National Communications Authority (NCA) and NPP head of technology, was also denied entry by Kenya.
YEN.com.gh has learnt that Mac Manu was blocked from entering Kenya because of his position as head of Democratic Union of Africa, a body that comprises centre-right leaning parties in Africa, including some opposition parties in Kenya.
