It appears it’s not only in Game of Thrones that you may find cases of incst but right here in Ghana we have people who actually fall in love with their siblings and even get married to them.

This is the case of Mawuena a 30 year old Rastafarian living in Koforidua, who has stated that he loves his (blood) sister and has been having sexual intercourse with her.

Speaking with Bryt FM, he stated that he was forced to fall in love with his sister because that is what his god wanted him to do.

He said, “..it was there that God told me to marry my sister before things will be okay for me in life, and he told me that if I refused to marry my blood sister, he will kill me and I did not want to die, I was not interested in my sister, but I have no option, because I cannot defy my creator."

Although the couples parents and their whole community have heavily criticize them for their abominable act, the couple have gone ahead to have a child together who is now 4 months old.

Dzigbordi who is Mawuena's sister and lover also revealed that she believed that her relationship with her brother is an act of God.

She asserted that she already had natural feelings for him that is why she had an affair with him.
