Fans of Ghanaian music have over the last few years grown beyond the shores of the African continent and further towards the Western and Eastern part of the world.
So it comes as no surprise to see members of the Korean community in Ghana move their bodies to the rhythms of Okyeame Kwame’s best hits.
Last weekend, the Embassy of Korea held a South Korean food cooking contest at the Accra Mall food court to celebrate 40 years of harmonious diplomatic relations with Ghana.
During Okyeame Kwame’s performance, some Korean nationals were moved to show off their dancing skills, albeit with a humorous style.
Ama K. Abebrese hosted the event dubbed the Hansik Contest, which saw many Ghanaians and other foreign nationals attend including the South Korean Ambassador to Ghana, Sung-su Kim.
