Sources intimated that the mother of two underwent the procedure on July 15, but hours later she felt dizzy and unconscious, prompting her to call 911.
She was rushed to a local health facility, where she was pronounced brain-dead by physicians and subjected to a life-support machine.
However, Latesha's health is said to have deteriorated three days later, compelling specialists to remove her from life support after which she was announced dead.
Be that as it may, the deceased's family has termed the tragic incident as 'murder.'
In a Facebook post prior to the incident, Latesha's mom noted that she had every reason to believe that her daughter was murdered, challenging authorities to speed up investigations.
