Valery Sawyer cautions Akufo Addo from JJ Rawling's praise

Madam Valerie Sawyer, a former Presidential Deputy Chief of Staff during the John Mahama led administration, has cautioned President Akufo Addo to be wary of former president Rawlings' praise.

Former President Chief of Staff, Madam Valerie Sawyer has written a scathing article lambasting former president Jerry John Rawlings' recent comments regarding corruption and his perceived antipathy against the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In her article, the former presidential deputy chief of staff cautioned President Akuffo Addo against former president Rawlings' comments that seem to favor his [President Akufo Addo] cause.

Madam Sawyer's article goes on to challenge former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Mr. Martin Amidu, to leave the opposition NDC party since - according to her - he no longer promoted the main opposition party cause.

Madam Sawyer, in her article, goes on to tell the President that his seven month old administration is fraught with corruption, and that he ought to rise up and do something about it.

"President Akufo-Addo … Do not be deceived by JJ’s recent rantings that seem to favor your cause. Your Government in seven months is reeking of corruption. Rise up and do something about it instead... A man is only as good as his word!" Reads excerpts of Madam sawyer's article.

Madam Sawyer concludes by mentioning the former NPP chairman, Mr. Peter Mac Menu's recent deportation from Kenya after Mr. Menu went to Kenya to "consult for the National Super Alliance (NASA).

"… but before I leave … Mr. President, is it true that Peter Mac Manu (former NPP Chairman) was deported from Kenya where he was going to consult for the National Super Alliance (Nasa), Kenya’s Opposition Coalition, on ‘control’ of electoral data? … hmmm!
