The mortal remains of Highlife legend Paapa Yankson will be laid to rest on October 21, his family has confirmed.
The late singer and songwriter passed away while at his resident in Accra, after battling an unknown illness.
Last week friends and loved ones of the legend gathered to commemorate one-week of his demise, with his family confirming that he will be buried in Apam in the Central Region.
The ceremony was graced by a host of celebrities, including colleagues from the music industry.
Paapa Yankson was one of the most celebrated musicians in Ghana, with his hit songs ‘Okukuseku’ and ‘Show your Love’ long being etched in the hearts of many Ghanaians.
He was aged 72 before passing on.
