Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall artiste Emmanuel Andrews, better known as Samini is claiming he brought controversial Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale to limelight.
According to Samini, he was the one who made the Dancehall King famous in the Ghanaian Showbiz industry.
Speaking on Kumasi-based Abusua FM, Samini insisted that his continues responds to Shatta Wale’s incessant jabs at him is what shot the artiste into fame over the years.
The celebrated Reggae singer submitted that, Shatta Wale has never been his friend, and under no circumstances will the two call themselves in a telephone conversation.
“You see we have several Dancehall artistes in the system and if someone wants to become popular the person tries to engage you in a beef just to be in the news and that is exactly what Shatta is doing. I made him popular and he knows it.” Samini said.
He also commented that, though many fans see his relationship with Wale as a fragile one, he rather sees things to be normal since the two could make some good business moves together.
Samini hinted that, he may soon record with Wale in future which is bound to instant hit business.
