If you have been wondering why Ghanaian songstress and all-round controversial woman, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, better known as Mzbel is not married, she has some words for you.
Speaking with University of Ghana's campus radio station, Radio Universe, the Ghanaian musician stated that "marriage is not her priority".
Mzbel, however quickly stated that she is not completely against the institute of marriage, but does not really have immediate plans to get hitched.
She stated that, even though it is not her immediate wish to get married, she will be willing to get married if the chance arises.
"I will not have time for marriage because it is not part of me. Sometimes you can date someone to the extent you both decide to make it official", Mzbel added.
Mzbel also added that she had a high distaste for "white weddings" and "exchange of rings" which are very key components of Christian weddings.
The artiste has, on several occasions, decried the Christian religion claiming that God is an "sham" and thus her hate for "Christian weddings" looks to be part of her general aversion to Christianity.
Mzbel, who is a single mother, stated that she is not also looking for a husband not as she is "comfortable with her relationship with baby's father".
"He does not want to be known but when he agrees in the future I will make it public", she added in why the said father of her child has decided to remain anonymous.
