There are reports of how the head of the electoral commission, Charlotte Osei, appointed a former worker in Mahama's communications team ahead of the 2016 elections.
The Daily Guide claims that Charlotte Osei had appointed one of the NDC communicators - James Afedo - as the lead communications expert responsible for the communications of the Electoral Commission during the 2016 polls.
"James was being paid $2,500 monthly (about GH¢10,000)," the newspaper claims.
YEN.com.gh can't confirm or deny the content of these reports as we are beginning to learn that the EC boss is still having a hard time working closely with her two deputies.
The petition to impeach Charlotte Osei has been fiercely rejected by a concerned citizen and lawyer who has sued the attorney general and chief justice over the way(s) by which the petition is being handled by the Supreme Court.
