Ace rapper C-Zar lists his top five favorite artiste and places Shatta Wale in pole position

Experienced Ghanaian musician C-zar has listed his all-time favorite musicians in Ghana and he has stated in no uncertain terms that self-acclaimed Dance hall king Shatta Wale is on the top of his list.

Speaking in an interview with Accra FM, the musician indicated that Shatta Wale was the best artiste in Ghana. The ace rapper added R2Bees, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Kofi Kinaata to make the cut of his five top performers currently in the music industry.

C-Zar indicated that Samini did not make his top five acts even though he respected him so much as a musician.He added that Samini was good and commanded a lot of respect in the music fraternity but was not part of the best artistes currently in the country.

The rapper indicated that it was Sarkodie who was putting Ghana on the map because of his versatility. He bemoaned the way musicians in Ghana were copying from the Western world and reproducing exactly what they hear.

However, the musician acknowledge the efforts of Kofi Kinaata and Wutah who mixed up the beats to produce songs that both the young and old could appreciate. He said this in reference to their hit song titled “Bronya”

C-Zar added that even though the music industry was becoming tough for artiste and upcoming acts, Sarkordie found it easy to sail through the industry and was also able to get himself international gigs.

He reiterated that apart from Sarkodie who was making strides to push Ghana high, the rest of the artistes in the country were not putting in enough efforts to do same.
