It has emerged that the council of elders of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will be having a crunch meeting today to figure out the best way(s) out of the party's recent internal wranglings.
YEN.com.gh is gathering that this meeting is likely to be chaired by the founder of the party, Jerry John Rawlings who is currently the chairman of the council.
It all started when key members of the party started blaming Martin Amidu and Jerry Rawlings for the gaping defeat of the party in the just ended 2016 elections.
Former deputy chief of staff, Dr Valerie Sawyerr, in an opinion piece made wild allegations of how both personalities had in one way or the other conspired to let down the party through the use of public statements.
