Dance hall artistes Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale and Livingstone Etse Satekla, known in showbiz as Stonebwoy appear to be in an implied stand-off on social media over a post made by the latter.
Two days ago, the “People dey” hit maker, Stonebwoy made a post on Instagram and with him in the picture was Jamar McNaughton, popularly known as Chronixx, who is a Jamaican reggae artist.
Stonebwoy captioned the post, “Quick linking…Working…No Long Talking Cuz A Fool's Mouth Is His Destruction! ...Austria Vienna Tonight!!”
A day after Stonebwoy’s post was made, “Taking Over” song creator, Shatta Wale took to twitter and made a number of tweets. In one of the tweets, the self-accalimed Dance hall king indicated that, “Some of these GH artiste are always the last to know when we talk showbiz…”
It is not news that the two dance hall acts have been at ‘war’ with each other to battle out for superiority. There has been some bad blood that has existed between the two performers and it seems to get hotter as they cast insinuations on their brewing rivalry.
Recently, Shatta Wale indicated that he had wanted to attend Stonebwoy’s wedding to Dr. Louisa Ansong but it was rather unfortunate that he did not receive his invitation.
The tow atritses have also nicknamed each other with Stonebwoy calling Shatta Wale “Corporal Nii” and Shatta Wale referring to Stonebwoy as “Sergeant Lee”
