Top actress Yvonne Okoro has finally opened up about the rife rumors that were making rounds that she was in a relationship with rapper Criss Waddle.

Speaking in an interview on Accra-based Peace FM, the award-winning actress indicated that there was nothing going on between herself and the “bokoor” song maker. She stressed on the fact that the relationship was platonic and nothing more.

The actress indicated that even though the artiste used her name in his song was not an indication that both of them were in a relationship. She added that some other musicians including Ice Prince and Falz the Bhad Guy also used her name in their songs but it did not mean that she had anything to do with them.

The actress indicated that the news was just rumors that were being circulated. She added that there were rumors that she was in a relationship with Togo international footballer Emmanuel Adebayor and that the two of them had a son together.

The “Contract” actress debunked all the rumors and also rubbished the fact that her Mercedes Benz car was bought for her by the footballer.

However, Criss Waddle has indicated that his “Letter to Yvonne Okoro” was nothing but a song he recorded for his crush. The musician was of the view that other artistes recorded songs and mentioned the names of people they liked so he felt he could go along with that trend.

Criss Waddle indicated that Yvonne Okoro had been his friend for 2 years and the song was only an apology for something he did wrong. He added that Yvonne was special to him so he recorded the song to say sorry for the things he did.
