As a special treat for the Second Lady, Samira Bawumia who celebrated her 37th birthday on Sunday, a trip to the Silverbird Cinemas to watch a movie was the perfect way to spend her day.

Samira along with the First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, accompanied by relevant staff of the presidency was treated to a special cinema experience.

The First and Second ladies were attending a film screening as part of the Black Star International Film Festival held in Accra, which began earlier last week, and watched the critically acclaimed flm, A United Kingdom.

Among those present with the 'mothers of the land' was film producer Juliet Asante.

Samira Bawumia over the weekend, wowed the Ghanaian media scene with her spectacular outfit at the 2017 Glitz Magazine Style Awards.
