A 30-year old Chinese dad is pleading with the medics to help him save his critically ill son.
In a photo of the man which has since emerged, Du Zhiying can be seen stooping before his child's doctor to implore him not to stop the treatment.
The desperate father is said to have run out money, and was no longer able to foot hospital expenses.
Since his son was taken ill, the man has run into huge debts, including a Ghc34,2k debt from loan sharks.
All these with a specific end goal to save his son Du Yiwei.
The 7-month old toddler is reportedly suffering from extreme cerebrum sicknesses.
Mr Du, a migrant worker welcomed the infant in January.
Unfortunately, a few weeks later, the infant underwent a Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy diagnosis - a condition occasioned by lack of oxygen in the brain.
The baby has since undergone two successful surgeries, but remains confined in ICU.
