Social media users in Ghana have reacted in various ways to some comments believed to have been made by the Founder and leader of International Central Gospel Church, Dr. Mensa Otabil.
Speaking in a sermon in the headquarters of his church it is reported that the man of God indicated that even some people who looked like insults had slandered his person due to his links with Capital Bank.
The pastor of the church indicated that he was hit hard by the news of GCB Bank taking over Capital Bank. He went on to say that he was disappointed in the fact that some people who did not have any right to use his name in a sentence were all taking a swipe at him.
Dr. Mensa Otabil made this rebuttal after social media had taken a swipe at him after the news went viral that the license of Capital Bank had been revoked by the Bank of Ghana.
However, some social media users have their own reservations about the reply that was given by the leader of the church.
