Acting chairman of the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay is making the case for Ghanaians to be patient with government.
The NPP chairman posits that government is currently battling various economic challenges with public and energy sector debts been one of their major challenges.
Speaking in an interview with the media, Freddie Blay reveals that government is putting in place structures to ensure that the economy bounces back to growth - a development he believes will drive jobs and also deepen the investment drive of the country.
“Government is saddled with huge debts, the macroeconomic situation is that bad which needs to be stabilized and you can’t do all of them at the same time,” he revealed.
The comments by Freddie Blay follows some concerns over the various promises of government not forgetting the widening gap of Nana Addo’s ministerial portfolio.
