Ghana’s fastest rapper, Sarkodie has broken a long silence on why he is not seen wearing products from his own clothing brand but always seen wearing the brand of others in his music videos.

Speaking at his “Highest” Album listening on Friday, the “Dangerous” hit maker indicated that it was not as if he did not want to be seen wearing his brand. He revealed that new material were being produced and it was the reason he had to wait to wear them later.
The rapper who is known in real life as Michael Owusu Addo revealed at the album listening that he wanted to have a photo-shoot with the new arrival of products from his brand as a way of promoting them but their delay in arrival forced him to use other brands in his music clips.
The rapper was responding to questions posed by Zionfelix on why his music videos in the “Highest” saw him dressed in clothing from other renowned brands instead of his.
He indicated that he wanted to feature his brand in his latest music videos but complained that the manufacturing of the products went slower than expected.
The award-winning artiste is the owner of the fashion brand Sark Collection.
Earlier this year, rumors were rife that the stores of the musician which contained his customized products were being closed due to low patronage.
The musician is yet to release his much-anticipated 19 track “Highest” Album in September which features the likes of Jayso, Big Narstie, Victoria Kimani, Moelogo and Spoken Word artist Suli Breaks. The album also has Korede Bello, Flavour, Jesse Jagz, Praiz and Yung L from Nigeria on board.
