Rev. Owusu Bempah has lashed out at critics who spoke ill of Pastor Mensa Mensa Otabil following the collapse of Capital Bank.
The founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry International (GWPMI) is making the case that the failure of Mensa Otabil to make his career in banking a successful one is a reality of life that humanity goes through.
“The most important thing is that, Dr Mensa Otabil’s church has not collapsed. That is what God called him to do and not banking. Those insulting him over his business failure lack knowledge, it’s uncultured and childish,” he stated in an interview with Neat FM in Ghana.
Meanwhile, checks by YEN.com.gh reveal that Mensa Otabil together with his company - Otabil and Associates own just 3 percent of the total shares of Capital bank.
Dr. Mensa Otabil has in a sharp rebuttal sent a strong word to all those who in one way or the other, have insulted his person because of his church’s link with former Capital Bank.
During his sermon, he indicated that he had to get a hold of himself and not feel pity for himself but he was befuddled by the fact that some people who looked like insult, insulted him out of the abundance of their insults.
Meanwhile, the minority NDC is calling on the embattled pastor to render an unqualified apology or face their wrath. According to them, the choice of words by the pastor is against the doctrine of Christianity.
