Musician Mzbel has in a Facebook post shared the Basic Education Certificate Examination results of her son. The hiplife artiste shocked her followers when she posted the rather private results of her ward on social media.

The artiste indicated that she woke up the good news of her son’s impressive performance. The “Sixteen years” song maker appeared elated at her son’s performance.

She posted a picture of the provisional results and that of her son and captioned it, “Woke up to this! My son's BECE results…”

On Monday, The West African Examination Council released provisional results of Junior High School Students who sat for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination.

Many students are checking their results to see how they performed on the backdrop of a promise of Free Senior High School Education from the governing New Patriotic Party.

The government has assured all parents and students who are yet to enter Senior High School that Free SHS would happen as planned.

Early on in the weak, a former Minister of Education under the NDC, Dr. Ekow Spio-Garbrah stated in no uncertain terms that NPP’s Free SHS policy was not feasible. He adds his voice to many other opposition members who have indicated that Free Senior High School Education could not be free as touted by the NPP.
