The reported deportation of the former national chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Peter Mac Manu from Kenya during their elections has seen the NPP executive deny claims of him actually being kicked out of the country.

In an interaction with 3 news, the former chairman of the party revealed that the development which befell him is a normal diplomatic development likely to happen during a heated election like that of Kenya.
“I don’t know the definition of deportation vis-a-vis I won’t allow you to come to my country,” he said.
He pointed out that he was not the only one denied entry as Canadians, Americans and persons of other nationalities were sent back home.
