- The NDC delegation delivered a solidarity message, stating they would hold the NPP to its campaign promises
Koku Anyidoho, the Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, caused quite the commotion at the 25th National Delegates Congress of the New Patriotic Party.
The event which was held in Cape Coast was attended by over 5000 delegates of the NPP and the leading executives, including the President and his vice, and the First and Second ladies.
Koku Anyidoho led the NDC delegation to the conference, accompanied by the Central Regional Chairman of the NDC, Allotey Jacobs and some other NDC executives.
When he walk up to the podium to speak, the NDC secretary broke into the NDC’s song and began chanting the party’s motto:” Ey3 zu! Ey3 za!”
He further threw jabs at the presidency, that they were being slow on their promises, stating the NDC would still play the role of the watchman as they wait to see how the new government will run the affairs of the country.
The NDC delegation promised that their party is still united and they were already prepared to take back the country once the NPP government fails.
