- Francis Asenso-Boakye is daring A Plus to provide evidence or shut up
- He says he won't be intimidated by empty rants from A Plus
The deputy Chief of Staff, Francis Asenso-Boakye says he is not intimidated by some baseless allegations leveled against him by Musician Kwame A Plus.
The outspoken musician is waging war on the two deputy Chief of Staff, Abu Jinapor and Asenso-Boakye describing them not only as corrupt but also ‘stupid’.
Though A Plus did not provide details of his allegations, but wondered why President Akufo-Addo has appointed the two to deputize Mrs Frema Osei-Opare at the Flagstaff House.
The musician in his review of the NPP Delegate Conference which took place over the weekend on his Facebook page posted that, the party has performed creditably barely seven months into office but insisted that the two appointees have been ‘stupid’ in office.
He also branded the two as arrogant and corrupt NPP members appointed into high office such as the Chief of Staff.
He also stated that he could not fathom why President Akufo-Addo appointed the two ‘thieves’ whose level of stupidity is the same.
But Francis Asenso-Boakye also in a Facebook post has descended on A Plus insisting that he would not be intimidated by vile and ‘infantile’ attacks on him by the musician.
He also dared A Plus to provide evidence to his unsubstantiated allegations or use his social media influence in a more positive manner.
“Indulging in baseless accusations and unsubstantiated claims of corruption and arrogance is beneath you and frankly discredits you in the eyes of right thinking Ghanaians”, he posted.
The deputy Chief of Staff also called on A Plus to present his evidence to President Akufo-Addo for onward investigations if he wants Ghanaians to take him seriously.
“While I have this opportunity, allow me to echo the sentiments of President J. A. Kufuor. We need matured minds in our Party and body politics", Asenso-Boakye responded to A Plus.
