The National Democratic Congress has tasked the New Patriotic Party and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to make sure that more developmental projects are undertaken across the breadth of Ghana.
This was revealed by Koku Anyidoho, the Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, while speaking at the just-ended delegates’ conference of the NPP.
Anyidoho and some NDC stalwarts made headlines when they appeared at the ruling party's conference in the Central Region.
In his solidarity message at the grounds, the NDC scribe stated that "a peaceful and fast-developing Ghana was handed over to you by the NDC. All we are saying, is; give us more peace and development".
Infrastructural development was one of the major achievements of the NDC according to the campaign messages heralded by the party executives during the buildup to the 2016 General Elections.
Though some of this projects heralded by the NDC as achievements have since folded up, the largest opposition party in Ghana believes it has made "unprecedented” and "unparalleled" infrastructural achievements.
However, the President of Ghana, Nana Addo has assured that the NPP government will make sure that Ghana develops in the right direction by collaborating with the private sector.
