According to him, he and his team have little interest in creating job opportunities in the public sector, as it can never accommodate every job-seeking Ghanaian.
He added that the government intends to nip unemployment in the bud, and as such, the private sector presents the opportunity for the government to achieve that objective.
The president went on to say that a number of officials in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) are currently serving in government.
However, not all of such people had that opportunity, as the opportunities in the state machinery are limited.
He again stated that it is only a socialist system that gives total control to the state. Since the NPP government has no such agenda, it would focus on creating opportunities in the private sector.
