- The residents say the minister has abandoned them after winning as MP
- They say they will vote him out in 2020 elections if he doesn't fix their roads
Some aggrieved residents of Balkurani in the Tamale Central Constituency have vowed to boot out their Member of Parliament in the 2020 elections.
According to the residents, they are totally disappointed in the former Road Minister under the erstwhile Mahama administration, Inusah Fuseini over some failed campaign promises to them.
Some of the angry residents who spoke to Adom FM’s news correspondence in the region insisted that the MP did not fulfilled even one of the numerous promises made to them during the 2016 campaign.
The residents said the former Roads Minister assured them of constructing a major road for them but never set foot at the community after he won parliamentary seat in the 2016 elections.
The angry youth lamented about the bad nature of their roads reminding the Minister of his 2016 campaign promises hence 2020 elections is just around the corner.
Some of the angry residents in an interview said, “Inusah Fuseini came here and promised us he will fix this road for us but after we voted for him, he has never come here to fulfill his promise as he said. We know he will come again for another election campaign 2020”.
However, the former Roads and Highway Minister Inusah Fuseini has told Adom FM in Accra that he is very much aware of his promise to the residents but he can no longer assure them of their road since his party is out of power.
