The Police have arrested three persons after they tried to openly fight the Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwesi Amoako Atta.

The three workers of Atpage Limited and Ottis Equipment waged war against the minister after he demanded their businesses be relocated from the shoulders of the Tema motorway.
The Roads Minister Mr Amoako Atta was on a visit ahead of the construction of a tunnel to link Spintex Road to East Legon, when the aggrieved workers revolted against him.
The three suspects have since been handed over to the East Legon Police pending further investigations.
Meanwhile, the deputy Minister of Roads, Anthony Karbo has told Citi FM in Accra that the ministry has issued a 2-week ultimatum to all companies and squatters along the stretch to relocate.
He also added that his ministry is so far satisfied with progress of works and he is optimistic the contractor will deliver on time.
