Police arrests 26 Nigerians for cyber fraud

Police officials at Ashaley Botwe in Accra have rounded up 26 Nigerian men suspected to be actively involved in cyber fraud.

Reports confirm that these suspects were all caught in a room busily behind their laptops.

Their full names are Chris Ekena, Ken Ezebowa, Eugene Mike, Monday Osas, Ota John, Jude Williams, Isaac Smart, Noel Happy, Omayogbe Kerry, Ifoa Iris, Sanusi Dayo, Joshua Omaha, Vincent Oyakiri, and Stephen Seever, Manfred Isaac, Destiny Omowa, Precious Osaeje, Osas Godwin, Mavin Evans, Julius Imariabni, Samuel Junior, Olu Benson, Chris Ogbe, Osaze Felix, Osaze Jackson and Kingsley Anthony.

The arrests of these en follows government's resolve to strictly clamp down on cyber crime in the country which is currently one of the major crimes battling the country.

Meanwhile, the communications ministry together with the data protection agency says it's resolved to come out with a strategy best aimed at tracking culprits of cyber crime in the country.
