Reports have it that the Dr. Mahama, accompanied by party executives, marched to the party's General Secretary's office, Mr. Atik Mohammed, forcibly opened the office, changed the office door locks and locked up the office.

According to the PNC - who seem to have sanctioned the act - Dr. Edward Mahama's course of action was necessary because, though suspended from the party, Mr. Atik Mohammed was somehow resisting his suspension from the party.

According to kasapafmonline.com's sourcing, the police are likely to request a warrant for the politician's arrest should he fail to present himself to authorities.
